De Prijs coffeeshop is found on Surinamestraat, at the north end of the Hoofddorppleinbuurt (Hoofddorp Square neighborhood). This is a largely residential area of Amsterdam South. De Prijs actually sits right between Vondelpark and Rembrandtpark, two of Amsterdam’s most popular green areas. This is one of the most beautiful sections of the city, especially during the warmer months, when you can really appreciate the surroundings. If you find yourself walking between these two parks, De Prijs will be hard to miss, as it is right beside the main canal crossing on S106.
