Hospitality operates in and around it, and it is the image the town presents.<\/p>\n<h2>Brabant basics<\/h2>\n<p>Worstenbroodjes at every bakery, frikandel at every chip shop, and carnival as a fixed point in the year. Helmond becomes Keiebijters.<\/p>\n<h2>The Peel<\/h2>\n<p>Peat country east of the town, with farm shops and asparagus in spring. Deurne and Asten are the supply route.<\/p>\n<h2>Industrial past<\/h2>\n<p>Textiles and metal shaped the town into the 1970s.
