Most fields lie around Horst and Venray, and restaurants build menus on them.<\/p>\n<h2>The peat<\/h2>\n<p>The Peel was marsh and was dug out. What remains is farmland with fragments of raised bog now protected.<\/p>\n<h2>Intensive livestock<\/h2>\n<p>This region has the highest livestock density in the Netherlands. That brings argument, and at the same time farm shops selling meat straight from the producer.<\/p>\n<h2>Brabant and Limburg at once<\/h2>\n<p>The border runs straight through.
